What is the DIP Diet?

The DIP Diet (Disciplined & Intelligent People Diet) is a revolutionary plant-based dietary system developed by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury. It is based on extensive scientific research, including findings from 'The Great China Study on Nutrition'. The primary goal is to naturally reverse serious modern lifestyle diseases such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Obesity, and more.

This diet emphasizes consuming natural, minimally processed food and living closer to nature.

How the DIP Diet Works (Standard Plan)

Following the DIP Diet is straightforward and involves structuring your meals in specific steps:

Step 1: Breakfast (Until 12 PM)

  • Consume only fruits until 12 PM.
  • Quantity: 10 times your body weight in grams (e.g., if body weight is 60 kg, eat 600g of fruits).
  • Choose 3-4 varieties of seasonal and regional fruits.
  • Avoid anything else (tea, coffee, snacks) during this period.

Step 2: Lunch & Dinner (Plate 1 & Plate 2)

Before eating your main meal for lunch and dinner, divide your food into two plates:

Plate 1 (Eat First):

  • This plate should consist of raw vegetable salad.
  • Include green leaves, sprouts, soaked dry fruits, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, etc.
  • Quantity: 5 times your body weight in grams (e.g., if body weight is 60 kg, eat 300g of salad).
  • Finish Plate 1 completely before moving to Plate 2.

Plate 2 (After finishing Plate 1):

  • This plate contains your regular cooked vegetarian food.
  • Should be prepared with minimal oil and minimal salt.
  • Can include daal, vegetables, roti/rice, etc., typical Indian vegetarian meals, provided they are cooked simply.

Note: You can eat as much as you want from Plate 2 until you feel full, but always eat Plate 1 first.

Things to Strictly Avoid:

  • Packed and Processed Food
  • Dairy and Milk Products (including curd, paneer, ghee, butter, ice cream)
  • Tea and Coffee
  • Multivitamins and Tonics)
  • Any artificial supplements.

The principle is simple: consume only nature-based, unprocessed food.

Important Note: This is a standard plan. It can be modified based on specific diseases or individual health conditions under expert guidance.
